Business & Participant Consultant

We are looking for enthusiastic students to join our team to assist in developing relevant course material, and offer advice and mentoring to our current cohort of participants.

You will join a group of highly driven, passionate professionals and be part of a new, exciting and evolving start-up. We are looking for applicants who can commit to a minimum of 8 hours per week. The role will be onsite at our premises in the Sydney CBD with some remote working.  

Responsibilities:

  • Work with our teaching instructors to create suitable course materials 

  • Facilitate learning and understanding with the FINMA cohort, promoting a positive and engaging learning environment 

  • Provide feedback to our teaching instructors and management team around participant needs, attitude and performance 

  • Serve as a role model for FINMA participants through feedback, advice and encouragement 

  • Assist FINMA participants to prepare high quality applications for internships 

  • Assist in preparing FINMA participants with interview preparation and technical questions 

  • Promote a strong culture of collaboration, inclusivity, humility and accountability

Requirements:

  • Current student at a Sydney-based university 

  • Completed at least one internship in a bulge bracket or boutique investment bank or trading firm

  • Must be available until February 2026 at a minimum

  • Excellent understanding of financial analysis, data analytics, and financial modelling in Excel 

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite

  • Passion for the finance industry

  • Strong desire to contribute, self-motivated and hard-working

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 

  • Enthusiastic, genuinely interested and creative

  • Curious, quick thinking, cool under pressure and a problem solver

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a small, remote team

  • Confident presenter

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and a high standard of attention to detail
